Its history is as old as 1300 years, and in the Muromachi era it was chosen as one of "nationwide tenets". It is also a famous temple dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasuke, who was reluctant to live in the Warring States Period, by the Imperial Yoshimoto's military leader Taiyu Akusei, during the Edo period when the Korean correspondent was hosted.
